剑桥大学哲学博士、中国人民大学哲学院副教授、分析哲学研究中心主任。研究领域：心灵哲学、宗教哲学和科学哲学。

Daniel is  an associate professor of philosophy at Renmin University of China.  He also co-direct the Center for Analytic Philosophy.  His main interests lie at the intersection of philosophy of mind and philosophy of religion but I he also interested in traditional metaphysics and epistemology, philosophy of science, experimental philosophy, and ethics. He received Ph.D. (2011) from Cambridge University in History and Philosophy of Science and received  B.A. (1998) in computer science from U.C. Berkeley.

Abstract:

In this paper I try to integrate discussions going on in three different areas of philosophy. There are interesting similarities between a central debate in the philosophy of mind concerning the compatibility of mental causation and non-reductive physicalism and a central debate in the philosophy of religion concerning science and religion. Moreover, there are ongoing debates in the recent experimental philosophy literature concerning consciousness and free will that are relevant to these debates.
