Curriculum Vitae of Prof. Wenxi Zhang

Prof. Wenxi Zhang was born in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province in 1961. In 2002, he received Doctor degree in Philosophy at Fudan University(FDU). At present, he works as Wu Yuzhang Senior Chair Professor and doctoral supervisor at School of Philosophy of Renmin University of China (RUC), and is the State-Council Special Allowance Obtained Expert. Furthermore, Prof. Zhang also serves as vice president of Marxism Political Philosophy Research Institute of Chinese Society of Dialectical Materialism and vice president of Equity and Justice Research Institute. His main course is Marxist philosophy.

Prof. Zhang focuses on marxism political philosophy, historical materialism, problems about human beings and fundamental theory of philosophy. In addition, Prof. Zhang has published 12 monographs, and also published more than 300 academic articles in famous Chinese journals such as Social Sciences in China, Philosophical Researches, etc.
