Zhang Xiao

A Wu Yuzhang scholar distinguished professor of Renmin University of China, doctoral supervisor, he is the expert of the Project to Study and Develop Marxist Theory of the central government, top specialist of the major project of The National Social Science Fund of China.

He is now the vice president of the School of Philosophy, the executive director of Education Ministry's Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences the Research Center for Ethics and Moral Construction. He is also the managing director of China Association For Ethical Studies (CAES), the deputy director of the Legal Ethics Committee of CASE and the vice president of Beijing Association For Ethical Studies. He is mainly engaged in research and teaching of Marxist Ethics, Political Philosophy and Applied Ethics and won the second prize of National Higher Education and Teaching Achievement. To preside over more than 8 national, provincial and ministerial-level projects such as major projects, key projects and youth projects of the National Social Science Fund of China.

He has published two monographs on A Study of Contemporary Britain and America Marxist Ethics and the Ethical Dimension of Modern Governance. He has published more than 30 papers in such authoritative publications as Philosophical Research, Philosophical Trends and Morality and Civilization and he translated the Business ethics. He is the Editor-in-chief of the National Publishing Fund project the Study Series on Marxist Ethics in the New Era and the international journal East Asian Journal of Philosophy and won the honor of the 2nd Top Ten Outstanding Young Scholars in the filed of Chinese Ethics.
