On September 7, the registration of the 2024 new graduate students of the School of Philosophy of Renmin University of China was carried out in an efficient and orderly manner at the Mingde Square. The School of Philosophy welcomed 167 new graduate students, including 101 new master's degree students and 66 new doctoral students, including 6 international students. Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Philosophy Shi De Cai, Dean and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Zang Fengyu, Deputy Director of the Office Wei Yifan, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and Secretary of the Party Affairs Cai Xinxin, and Teacher Lv Jiayi came to the orientation site to welcome the new students.

Although the weather was cloudy and rainy, the volunteers welcomed the new students with enthusiasm. They started early in the morning and ended in the evening, guiding the new students with patience, dividing the work clearly and conscientiously, helping each new student to complete the process of checking the acceptance letter and identity information, presenting the Passport, completing the signing-in, receiving supplies, etc., which gained the praises and affirmation of the new students and their parents.

Lin Shangli, President of Renmin University of China, and other university leaders came to the Philosophy School's new student orientation site to learn about the progress of the orientation work, visit the faculty, students, staff and volunteers, exchange photos with the new students and their parents and welcome the new graduate students of the Class of 2024.

After registration, the new students came to the photo board to take a photo, leaving their first photo with School of Philosophy of RUC and officially becoming a member of the School of Philosophy! The camera framed the joyful smiles of the new students, and every photo and every frame marked the start of a brand new journey, which will also become a precious memory in the time of graduate school.

At 17:30 pm, after all the new students had finished registration and settled into their dormitories, the school leaders and teachers came to the dormitory building of the new graduate students and communicated with the new students on the adaptation to the school.

In the near future, the School of Philosophy will also organize a series of activities to help the new students of the class of 2024 adapt to the new study life as soon as possible, and help them start a new chapter in RUC.
