Research Center for the Development of Humanities and Social Sciences

The Research Center for the Development of Humanities and Social Sciences was established in 2003 with the approval of Renmin University of China. It is an interdisciplinary research center consisting of teaching and administrative resources from various schools and departments, mainly focusing on the general development and critical issues of humanities and socials sciences in China by introducing new methodologies and new experience from other countries. Drawing on the latest achievements from both domestic and international sources, it adapts an interdisciplinary approach to enhance the understanding of development to the humanities and social sciences in China. It also carries out research on the Marxist concept of science and technology and the contemporary theory of science and technology, conducting exemplary studies using innovative approaches.
