Institute of Modern Logic and Philosophy of Science and Technology

The Institute of Modern Logic and Philosophy of Science and Technology was established in 2007 by Renmin University of China. The institute has the goal of merging science and humanities, to leverage the strong advantages of the humanities and social sciences at the university to conduct theoretical and applied research in modern lo gic and the philosophy of science. As a platform for exchanging ideas and research achievements for domestic and foreign scholars, it follows onthe educational philosophy of emphasizing both humanities and sciences. It pursues more opportunities to integrate the academic resources both within and outside the university, extends international cooperation, and further explores the distinctive interdisciplinary research on science, society and humanities.
