Interdisciplinary Cross-Platform on National Governance Modernization and Applied Ethics
Established in July 2020, Interdisciplinary Cross-Platform on National Governance Modernization and Applied Ethics in Renmin University of China is focused on addressing contemporary issues related to the modernization of national governance. It collaborates with disciplines such as Marxist theory, political science, sociology, economics, and more, so as to collectively research and tackle these issues. Actively engaging with relevant academic institutions, it takes a broad perspective to observe real-world problems in global governance and governance in China. The platform conducts research from the standpoint of Marxist political philosophy, analyzing the philosophical theories of modern governance. By combining practical applied ethics, it explores the social and moral governance functions of applied ethics. Furthermore, it provides a masters’ degree in applied ethics. Through interdisciplinary research, the platform aims to lead and promote the development of ethical governance systems.
