The Interdisciplinary Cross-Platform for Philosophy and Cognitive Science in Renmin University of China was established in 2018, aiming to break down interdisciplinary barriers and integrate resources from philosophy, psychology, cognitive science, and other disciplines. It has six research directions: psychology and philosophical issues based on neuroscience; ethnic psychology and social-cultural cognition; perception, action, and self-consciousness; experimental philosophy and cognitive science; philosophy of psychology, and cognitive science philosophy; the logic, philosophy, ethics, and politics of artificial intelligence. Taking an international perspective and considering the Chinese context, this interdisciplinary platform focuses on theoretical, applied, and comparative research related to embodied cognition between China and Western Countries, and is guided by significant practical issues that may arise.
