Nie Minli, Wu Yuzhang Chair Professor at Renmin University of China, doctoral supervisor, primarily engaged in teaching and research in ancient Greek philosophy, modern and contemporary Western philosophy, metaphysics, epistemology, and moral philosophy. Published academic monographs include Being and Substance: A Study of Aristotle's Metaphysics Z (Z 1-9) (published by East China Normal University Press in 2011), Substance and Form: A Study of Aristotle's Metaphysics Z (Z 10-17) (published by Renmin University of China Press in 2016), and The Origin of Western Thought: An Introduction to the History of Ancient Greek Philosophy (published by Renmin University of China Press in 2017).
