Lei Siwen, born in 1983, is currently an associate professor in the section of Foreign Philosophy of the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China. Lei Siwen graduated from the Business School of Renmin University of China in 2005. In 2009, he graduated from the Department of Philosophy of Peking University with a master's degree in philosophy. In 2014, he graduated from the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Leuven with a Master of Philosophy and a Doctor of Philosophy. His main research fields are medieval philosophy, early modern philosophy, and German philosophy. He serves as a member of the German Philosophy Society of China and a member of the Kant Society of China. He has published the monograph "Levelling and Rupturing: Duns Scotus on Metaphysics and the Transcendence of Gond" (Beijing: SDX Joint Publishing Company, 2020), and is the editor of " The Handbook of the Classics of Western Philosophy" (Beijing: China Renmin University Press, 2020) , and published many research papers in related fields.
