Prof. Peng Yongjie, male, born on June 1969 in Germu, Qinghai province, with native place in Guannan County, Jiangsu Province. He got bachelor’s degree at the Department of Philosophy of Hebei University, a master's degree in modern foreign philosophy at the School of Philosophy of Renmin University of China (RUC), and Ph.D. of Chinese Philosophy in RUC. He is currently professor of the School of Philosophy of RUC, and Dean of the Confucius Research Institute of RUC. Prof. Peng’s main research areas: the history of ancient Chinese philosophy, the history of Chinese political philosophy, and Confucianism.
