Ms. Li Kelin is a professor in the Philosophy School at Renmin University of China in Beijing, with doctoral degree from Hong Kong University(2009), master degree from Leuven Catholic University(2004), and Bachelor from Peking University(2002). Specializing in aesthetics, she imparts her knowledge through talking about a diverse array of subjects. Li Kelin's research delves into contemporary French theories of aesthetics, exploring the philosophy of sensation and contemporary European epistemology. Her scholarly contributions extend to publications in the areas of the theory of sensation within contemporary continental philosophy, like Deleuze’ theatre of Philosophy (Beijing, Commercial Press, 2023), as well as aesthetic theory in China, where she examines connections with both classic and modern art practices, like “Three Distances in Linquan Gaozhi(forthcoming in Aisthesis, 2024)”.
