Personal profile
Dr Li Maosen is the Deputy Director of the National Center for Ethical Studies at Renmin University of China and Standing Director of Chinese Association for Ethical Studies. He is Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Moral Education (JME), the International Review of Information Ethics (IRIE) and Leadership and the Humanities (LATH). His major academic interest lies in moral philosophy, applied ethics, busineess ethics, moral education, public sector ethics, and comparative study of ethical ideas between East Asia and the West. His English work includes Moral Education in Changing Chinese Societies, Guest Editor, a special issue of the Journal of Moral Education, Vol. 33, 4, 405-642, 2004. His recent publications are the translations of Protecting the Vulnerable: A Reanalysis of Our Social Responsibilities (2008) by Robert E. Goodin, and The Moral Foundation of Rights (2011) by L. W. Sumner.
